Make plans to join us in Lubbock during the TCU Football Weekend. We'll celebrate all that Saddle Tramps have done in the 85 years since 1936.

Arch Lamb promised to ring the Victory Bells all night if the Red Raiders could upset the defending National Champion TCU Horned Frogs. Tech won the game and our founder kept his promise.

85th Saddle Tramps Reunion Info

We’re still working through the last 18 months and so this will be a new type of reunion than in years past.

For our 85th reunion, we are partnering with our friends at the Texas Tech Alumni Association. On Saturday, October 9th, we will join the 1923 Society for a morning breakfast and time to visit with Texas Tech Chancellor Tedd Mitchell. This starts at 8am at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center.

Following the 1923 event, we will be able to reminisce with our pledge brothers and celebrate 85 years of Saddle Tramps!

This will allow Ex-Tramps to take in other homecoming festivities on Friday night and Saturday pre-game activities, etc..

We are also working on an afternoon social event should the Tech/TCU game be a 6pm/7pm night game. This won’t be finalized until the game time is announced and is dependent upon gameday obligations for the actives.

The Saddle Tramps Alumni Association will be raffling off two (2) West Side Club tickets ($500 value) for the Tech/TCU game. Raffle Tickets will be $25 a piece and all proceeds will be donated to the Saddle Tramps Actives organization.
